There are some people who believe a dog is the best accessory. Between my husband and myself we each have his and her dogs. His is a bouncing baby boy yellow lab named Roni and mine is a proper (sometimes) lovely lady named Lily who's a Golden Retriever. For the last 8 years she has been with me literally everywhere; Sotheby's, traveling, moving out of NYC, starting my store, going to clients, Bergdorf sales...Everywhere! She has been in numerous articles and ads and has never let fame get to her.
However she has one vice that almost killed her yesterday and that is eating rocks. After 8 hours at Cornell Animal Hospital in Stamford, CT my little Lily ended her day with emergency surgery to extract 6 rocks!! She is recovering well with them, I'm thrilled to report. I thought I would dedicate todays blog to all the fabulous dogs in the world. Woof Woof. Also many many thank you's to all the doctors and nurses at Cornell Animal, especially the nurse who said she READS THIS BLOG. Wahooo!!
